This Month’s featured Glowear:  Gloves – Magic Mitt vs Glow gloves

To celebrate our semi-official grand opening, we are rolling out featured items for a few categories on our site.  These are unique and hard to find products and are some of our most popular products as well.  This month, we are featuring a couple products from our Glowear collection.  Glowear is a loose term we use to describe any type of clothing that illuminates.  Whether that is from chemical reactions or electricity just depends on the product itself. 
Case in point is the two featured products.  This month we wanted to show you all our gloves.  We carry two different types of gloves on our site.   One is the Magic Mitt and the other are simply called glow gloves.  Either one would make a great Halloween costume addition or simply be something to set someone apart at a night club or disco.  We offer both because they have different looks and work in different ways.  

We’re very proud of the addition of the Magic Mitt to our site.  These gloves are quite unique, using small LED lights in the fingertips and palm of the gloves to light the user’s hands.  The light from the Magic Mitt is visible from one-half a mile away and the batteries are easy to find Lithium watch-style batteries.  Because these gloves use LED lighting technology, the battery life is incredibly good.  The gloves themselves are stretchy breathable material and have held up will from our in-house testing.  The lights change colours, so you can have one hand blue and one hand red or both green if you so choose.  The gloves also can be set to flash or blink as well as being constantly on.  

The best part about these gloves though is that the wires are contained within the glove.  This means no contact with the wires, no irritation from the wires and no ripping wires off the control board that is sewn into the wrist.  We were impressed with the construction of the Magic Mitt and knew it deserved to be on our site.  If you want to take a look at them, they are located here: http://www.glowstickcity.co.uk/glow-tshirts/magical-mitt.html 

We have also decided that these gloves are a must-have for any car emergency kit.  Because the flash and are incredibly bright, they offer a level of safety should you have to change a tyre alongside the road.  Set them to on and you don’t need a flash light and set them to blinking to alert drivers that you are there. 
Our glow gloves are a less expensive alternative to the Magic Mitt and for party, nightclub and Halloween applications offer a different look altogether.  They use photo-luminescent impregnated cloth and can be used over and over again.  Just let them sit in the sun and they will shine for a couple hours in the dark.  They also are UV light reactive and will glow continuously, making them perfect for an all-nighter at a nightclub or rave.    

We have also heard that they are quite popular for sign language users as well.  Sign language users wear them at night so they can communicate in the dark.  While we just found out that these gloves were useful and not just something used for fun, we are happy to help those that use sign-language better communicate. 
We’ve been impressed with these gloves as well.  They are one size fits most but that most includes the average 8 year old and the average giant.  They are machine-washable and will last for thousands of glowing cycles.   They are great for adding a glowing pizzazz for a Halloween costume as well as numerous other uses.
